I work with clients to establish what their goals are for therapy. For some it may be to bring clarity to a specific situation that is causing disruption to their lives. For others, we may seek to uncover patterns of behavior that have been preventing them from living the lives they desire or having the sort of relationships they find most fulfilling. I seek to understand, increase awareness, relieve pain and fear, improve interpersonal skills and encourage growth. I have 20 years of experience providing therapy to individuals and couples with a wide range of psychological difficulties.
I feel my greatest strength is the ability to establish deep, trusting, therapeutic relationships within which we can explore the issues at hand. I take pride in the fact that former clients value our relationship and often return to see me if they encounter additional difficulties in their lives.
I will treat you and your concerns with gentleness and respect while also being able to challenge you when needed. I feel incredibly grateful to do what I do for a living. It is an honor to be a witness to the courage and growth of my clients.
